What is prayer but a phatic gesture of the One to the Ultimate Other?
Eh-Heh-Yeh is a multidisciplinary performance exploring the intersection of ritual and performance. Inspired by an ancient Hebrew prayer set to the haunting original melody composed and performed by Feliza Bascara-Zohar, this evocative piece blends voice and movement to tell a story of inner transformation.
Through a dynamic arc that moves from despair to gratitude, Eh-Heh-Yeh captures a supplicant’s emotional and spiritual journey. Drawing on elements of dance, prayer, and improvisation, the performance invites audiences into a meditative experience where art becomes a mode of connection—with the Self, with the Other, and with Sacred Space.
