Creative Journey
Feliza Bascara-Zohar is a multifaceted creator and performer—an actor, recording artist, singer-songwriter, dancer-choreographer, and improvisational artist. She has embodied and originated a wide range of characters for film, television, and stage, from villains to queens, the sacred to the profane, the tragic to the absurd.
Feliza is also one half of the singer-songwriter duo Feliza & Or Zohar, whose four albums (on Spotify and YouTube) and international tours (since 2017) have brought their soulful, genre-blurring sound to audiences across the U.S. and abroad. Her award-winning video dance piece Queen of the Galilee at Her Toilette, created spontaneously under strict Covid lockdown conditions, limited to the 100 meter radius around her home, is a testament to her fearless creativity and artistic versatility.
She holds an MA in Expressive Arts from Tel Aviv University and a BA in Musicology and Literature from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
