About the event
Set during World War II, The Dresser is a poignant and often humorous backstage drama about the devoted assistant to an aging Shakespearean actor-manager struggling to carry on despite personal and wartime hardships. As the company prepares for another performance of King Lear, the play explores loyalty, identity, friendship, and the transformative power of theatre in the face of adversity.
Feliza will be playing Her Ladyship, a Shakespearean actress in a struggling touring company navigating love, loss, and the onset of her husband’s dementia amid the air raids of World War II Britain.
